Casual family dinner

We went to T-Rex Cafe last week while at Disney Springs. It was pretty cool, my son loved the dinosaurs moving around. I had the Ribs and Chicken Combo, it was pretty good. My husband got the Guac-asaurus Burger and said it hit the spot. It's a bit loud with all the sounds, but that's part of the fun, right? Overall, a good time with the family.

Good food, fun atmosphere

Had dinner at T-Rex Cafe. Ordered the Megasaurus Burger. Food was solid, and the dinosaur theme was fun for the kids. Service was quick enough. No issues.

Consistent experience

This was my third time eating at T-Rex Cafe. I keep coming back because it's a reliable choice when we're at Disney Springs with the family. This visit, I tried the Paleo Pizza, which was a new one for me, and it was surprisingly good. My usual go-to is the Fire-Roasted Rotisserie Chicken, which I've had before and it's always cooked well. The service was as efficient as previous visits. It's not a gourmet meal, but for a fun, themed dinner, they consistently deliver what they promise. The kids always enjoy the atmosphere, which makes it easier for us.

Decent value with discount

This was my first time trying T-Rex Cafe. I was looking for a place that felt worth the price, especially with two kids. We used our AAA discount which saved us about 10% on the bill. I got the Fish-n-Rex and the kids had the Kids Jurassic Chicken Tides. The food was okay for the price we paid after the discount. Without it, it would have been a bit much for what it was. The Build-A-Dino Workshop was a nice extra for them, kept them busy.

Theme is great, food is okay

We booked a reservation for T-Rex Cafe a few weeks in advance, which I recommend because it gets busy. When we arrived, they seated us pretty quickly, maybe a 5-minute wait. Our server was attentive and explained the menu well. I ordered the Flat Iron Steak, and it was cooked medium, as requested, but nothing special. My wife had the Shrimp Scampi, and she said it was decent. The kids loved their Kids Sly Mini Cheeseburgers and the meteor shower effect. The noise level can be high, which is expected with the theme. We also picked up a Plush Dinosaur from the gift shop. Everything was clean and the experience was what I expected for a themed restaurant at Disney Springs.
